Hello everyone!

This is an important update that I'm going to be very busy soon due to the college semester coming up. So, this might mean I won't be posting much unless I have the free time to do so. Plus, I really want to mainly focus on my personal life and educational goals at the moment. And to get off the internet and art pressure once for a while for my mental health. So if anyone noticed I've been more inactive on my social media accounts than usual, that's why.

lately ive been using my tumblr and devientart less :(

my mentals been going thru ups and down and im hoping to try and just post art dumps instead of posting one at a time. before i thought of just making a buncha accs on diff platforms to try and gain recognition, but im slowly coming to realize its a lot of stress to handle all my platforms equally. im gonna slowly stop posting and let my tumblr acc die out, love u all for the support on tumblr, but i wont be posting as often as i used to!!

i also started robux commissions again(yaay!!) and the infos will be in my carrd, as well as links to my other platforms.

im funna start labeling the accs im less active on. dont worry!! im still gunna be on the app in case anyone wants to do comms, but its more preferred if you email or dm me on twitter!!

Google Will Start Deleting Inactive Accounts In December

Google recently announced an important update regarding inactive account policies. The tech giant revealed its intention to start deleting the Google accounts that are left unused or unsigned for a minimum of two years. Apparently, Google has started notifying users regarding this alteration, aiming to allow them to take measures to avoid their accounts being automatically deleted.

Google’s updated policy aims to prioritize user security by reducing risks associated with maintaining inactive accounts. According to a blog post, this new policy is set to become effective in December 2023. The company will be issuing cautionary emails, beginning eight months beforehand, to notify users whose accounts the face potential threat of deletion. It’s critical to note that this deletion will impact all the content stored within inactive accounts, including Gmail, Docs, Drive, Meet, Calendar, YouTube, and Google Photos.

Google states, “We will adopt a phased approach, starting with accounts created but remained inactive. Before deleting the account, we will issue multiple notifications over several months. These notifications will be sent to both the account's email address and the provided recovery email, if available.”

Why is Google deleting the inactive accounts?

Google is planning to delete accounts that have been inactive for a two-year period to improve security. The company highlights that abandoned accounts are significantly less likely (at least 10 times) to have two-factor authentication established compared to active accounts, making them more vulnerable to potential hacking attempts.

Once an account gets compromised, it becomes susceptible to various activities ranging from identity theft to spam circulation. Google says that eliminating inactive accounts will help in minimizing the likelihood of such attacks. According to the official blog post, this is because forgotten or unattended accounts often rely on outdated and reused passwords that might have been compromised. Also, these accounts often lack two-factor authentication and receive fewer security checks from the user.
